Academic Achievements:

After joining service, I have been teaching several papers according to the Time-table allocation such as Vertebrates and Invertebrates Taxonomy, Physiology, Ecology, Fisheries Science, Limnology, Aquatic Toxicology, Marine & Brackish water Ecology, and Tools &Techniques in Biology. Successfully guided 15 Ph.Ds and 8 M.Phils, and presently guiding two Ph.D students. Attended several National and international Conferences/Seminars, and presented Papers. I was also invited as resource person and delivered lectures. Organized International and National seminars in the Department. Received Best presentation awards in the conferences. Acted as Pricipal Investigator for two Projects and also the Coordinator for UGC SAP DRS Project for the last 10 years. Published about 110 National and International papers in reputed Journals. Served as Coordinator, Exams in Centre for Distance Education. Academically served the University as DEAN Faculty of Natural Sciences, and presently acting as Vice-Principal University College of Sciences. Involved in several academic activities such as framing the UG & PG syllabus and upgrading the syllabi from time to time according to the changing trends and needs of the industry through several committees.
