Academic Achievements:

 Possess 22 years of Research and 16 years of Teaching experience in the field of Fisheries Science, Aquaculture, Fish Nutrition, HACCP Applications in Aquaculture, Food Safety & HACCP based Fish Quality Assurance.
 Developed a HACCP framework applicable to Indian shrimp farms to prevent antibiotic residues. Developed traditional shrimp feed by incorporating Agar industry waste as non conventional binder.
 Published more than 40 research papers in reputed journals and participated in above 50 National and International Conferences/Symposia/Workshop.
 Rendered Project Work guidance to more than 50 students till date and supervising project works of 5 students of M.Sc (Zoology) and 5students of M.Sc (Aquaculture) every academic year.
 Research guidance is being offered in the field of Aquaculture/ Fisheries Science/ Environmental science. 7PhD’s and 1M.Phil degrees were awarded under my research guidance till date and 3 PhD scholars are under the process of submission and another 5 PhD scholars are pursuing research under my guidance.
 Published more than 45 research papers in reputed journals and participated/presented papers in 51 National / International conferences/ symposia/ workshops.
